This delicious fine and delicate Côtes de Provence Rosé is made mainly from the local Provençal grape variety Tibouren, together with some Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Mourvedre. The grapes are harvested at night and taken to their state of the art modern winery where the fermentation and maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Very bright, pale salmon pink color with delicate aromas of spring flowers, fresh red berries and stone fruits. Light in body, it is a vibrant rosé, very refined and delicate on the palate with flavors of sour cherries, raspberries, fresh white peaches and tangerines as well as chalky and racy mineral notes. The finish is moderately long with refreshing acidity. (Gabe Geller)
Nice, pleasant soft smell of sweet meadow flowers, minimal legs indicate light body. Light strawberries, tannins are light but then it opens and continues to grow more complexity as it fills ever taste bud in your mouth. A perfect quaffing wine, but food would bring out its complexities. 215 cases, going...going... (Jay Buchsbaum)
