This wine was made from select Shiraz grapes harvested on Terra Rossa soil in Kibbutz Malkia, located in the Upper Galilee. 10% of Cabernet Sauvignon from a neighboring vineyard was added to the final blend for further enrichment. Following 12 months in French oak barrels, the wine is bottle aged for additional 6 months giving it refinement and complexity.
Due to the unusually hot weather of the 2010 summer, the
vineyards required meticulous care, management and
precision in the selection of the harvest dates. This
resulted in concentrated fruit of high-quality, rich in colour
and flavour. The harvest took place during late night hours
of the beginning of September and the grapes were
received at low temperatures in the winery to retain their
natural flavours and aroma.

This Cabernet Sauvignon plot grew at an altitude of 700
meters above sea level in the Upper Galilee. This unique
area is characterized with a cold climate and stony Terra
Rossa soil causing the vine roots to search for stored
water deep into the layers of rock contributing to a strong
and balanced vine.
The wine is deep ruby red with violet hues and
classic Shiraz flavours of raspberry, mulberry and violets.
The influence of the barrels adds notes of cedar, creamy
oak and a velvety balanced body with a long and pleasant
