This sparkling wine is made from wines produced in California and New York. It has been fermented with special Champagne yeast and given extended contact to enhance the complexity of the wine. It has the aromatic notes of the New York fruit and the lighter, more elegant tones contributed by the fruit from California.
Gabriel Geller: Bright yellow in color. Aromas of ripe quince and pears. Light to medium-bodied, light mousse and slightly off-dry, with more flavors of quince, kiwi and pears. Medium-low acidity with a moderate finish. Lively and flavorful for an entry-level sparkler. Jay Buchsbaum: Great color of pale to slight yellow. Aroma reminds me of Chenin Blanc (which is the base wine). This is a charmat bulk process wine. Slightly off dry, quite flavorful and lively. A real WOW for the price.
Enjoy it with food, as an aperitif or on those special occasions that call for a quality sparkling wine.
