Grapes harvested entirely from Watts Pescador and Locust Tree Vineyards after reaching full maturity. Pescador vineyard was planted in the 1930’s. A ten percent saignee taken after destemming and crushing. French oak aging for eight months with light filtration at bottling.
Will age gracefully for six to eight years if properly stored at 55ºF to 60ºF.

Deep red colour; full bodied wine with rich concentrated flavours and lush mouth feel. Big effusive aromas of ripe blackberry and raspberries balanced with vanilla and spice from the French oak aging.
Enjoy with roasted duck, grilled lamb or tomato based pasta dishes.
