The origin of this variety of aromatic
Gewürztraminer is at the foot of the Alps on the border between Northern Italy and
Austria. Today, this variety of grapes is commonly found between Germany and
Alsace in northern France (Rhine River) where it constitutes the basis of most
wines in the region. The pink skin of the grape is considered to be unique
among the broad varieties of the Traminer family.
Gewurztraminer grapes are characterized by their distinct aroma and extravagant hints of lychee and rosé petals that mix well with the natural sweetness and rich character of this strain.
