Odem Mountain winery was founded by Idit and Michael Alfasi and their children in 2003 at their home in Moshav Odem which is surrounded by the gorgeous oak forests in the northern Golan Heights. The couple had long desired to start a family business that would celebrate their mutual love of their homeland and put down deep roots for future generations to come.
Odem Mountain is Israel’s northernmost winery and the estate boasts 37 acres of vineyards at 1100-1200 meters above sea level. Conditions here are ideal for premium winemaking thanks to the sunny Meditarrean summers and cool foggy nights. This helps to capture the varietal purity of each grape and preserve plenty of freshness and aromatic complexity in their elegant wines.
